How Dropizon works

Last updated 24 September 2026

Dropizon is a software subscription for eBay sellers who source their products from Amazon. Sellers pay us a monthly fee to keep their own eBay listings priced and in stock automatically. We are not a shop, a marketplace or a courier: we sell a tool, and the seller stays the seller.

What we sell, and what we do not

What Dropizon is

  • Software, sold as a monthly subscription.
  • Priced by how many eBay listings it keeps up to date, currently $12.99 to $1,199.99 a month.
  • Used by the seller, on their own eBay account, under their own eBay agreement.
  • Delivered as a web application plus a Chrome extension the seller installs.

What Dropizon is not

  • We do not sell physical products and we hold no stock.
  • We never handle money from the seller's buyers. eBay pays the seller directly.
  • We are not a payment processor, a wallet or a marketplace.
  • We do not ship anything. Amazon ships to the seller's buyer.

How the operation runs

Three parts do the work, and it is worth being precise about which part sits where, because it is the reason we can price a large catalogue without scraping anybody's site from a data centre.

The seller can revoke that eBay token at any moment from eBay's own settings, and can uninstall the extension at any moment. Both stop the automation immediately.

The complete customer journey

1

They find a plan

A visitor reads the home page and the pricing page. Plans differ only in how many eBay listings they cover. Every feature is on every plan.

2

They check out, with no account

They press Buy and land on the checkout page. It asks for a name and an email address. There is no password field, no signup form and no login step. They are shown the price and the total, in US Dollars, before they commit.

3

They pay on the provider's secure page

The card is entered on our payment provider's own hosted checkout page (Stripe). Card details never reach our server and we never store them; Stripe keeps the card for the monthly payment. How payments work sets this out in full.

4

The payment opens the account

When the provider confirms the payment, we create the account, activate the plan, number an invoice and email a receipt with a single use link for choosing a password. The customer can also choose it straight away on the page they land on.

5

They connect eBay and install the extension

Inside the application they authorise their eBay account through eBay's own consent screen, then install the Chrome extension and sign in to Amazon in their own browser. Setup usually takes about ten minutes and our support team will do it with them on request.

6

Their catalogue starts working by itself

Dropizon imports their existing eBay listings, matches each one to its Amazon source, and from then on keeps the price and the stock in line with the rules they set. If Amazon goes out of stock the listing goes to zero quantity rather than selling something the seller cannot buy. When something sells, the seller places the Amazon order, with one click from the extension.

7

It renews monthly until they cancel

The plan renews every month on the same card. The customer can cancel at any time from Manage billing; the plan then runs to the end of the month already paid. If a payment fails we email them and the card is retried; if it stays unpaid, the automation stops at the end of the paid month and their eBay listings stay exactly as they are. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Common questions

What does Dropizon actually sell?

A subscription to software. Dropizon is a tool that eBay sellers use to keep their own eBay listings priced and stocked against Amazon. We do not sell physical goods, we hold no stock, and we never take payment from your buyers.

Who is the customer?

An eBay seller who sources from Amazon. They connect their own eBay account to Dropizon, and they remain the seller of record for everything they list.

What is the payment gateway used for?

Only for collecting the subscription fee from the Dropizon customer. See the payments page for the full detail.

Do I need an account before I can pay?

No. You can check out as a guest with your name and an email address. The account is created when the payment succeeds, and you choose a password afterwards.

Does the subscription renew automatically?

Yes, every month, on the card used at checkout, until you cancel. Cancel any time from Manage billing; the plan then runs to the end of the month already paid and nothing more is charged.
