Amazon order automation for your eBay sales

Last updated 26 October 2026

Amazon order automation for eBay turns an eBay sale into an Amazon order to the buyer's address, then puts the tracking number back on eBay, without retyping anything. Dropizon does this in your own browser and your own Amazon account: the extension fills the cart, the quantity and the buyer's address, checks the profit, and stops at Place your order for your click. Once Amazon ships, the tracking is read and uploaded to eBay.

What happens after an eBay sale?

  1. The order arrives. eBay orders are synced every 2 minutes and appear on the Orders page with the product picture, the order date in your store's own time, the buyer's address and links to the listing.
  2. The listing is re-read and repriced. The sale makes the listing the most urgent in the queue: the extension reads that ASIN next, and the after-sale reprice updates price and stock, so the next buyer pays today's cost plus your margin (see after a sale).
  3. You place the Amazon order in one of three ways, described below.
  4. The order number is saved. On Amazon's confirmation page the extension reads the Amazon order number and cost and reports them to the eBay order.
  5. Tracking goes to eBay. When Amazon ships, the tracking sweep reads the carrier and number and the server uploads them to eBay.
  6. The profit is checked. The loss guard prices the order out line by line and explains any loss.

What are the three ways to place the Amazon order?

Button on the Orders pageWhat it doesBest for
Place auto orderYou pick the Amazon account. The extension prepares the whole order in one tab: sign-in, empty cart, product, quantity, the buyer's address, Subscribe & Save if you asked for it, and the profit check. The order shows Ready to pay; you press Place your order in that tab, and the Amazon order number and total are saved by themselves. Most orders, once your supplier accounts are set up.
Place order by extensionOpens Amazon in a new tab, signs in as your supplier account if asked, sets the quantity, goes to checkout, enters the buyer's address and stops at payment. When you want to watch each step happen.
Show on AmazonOpens the product with the guided panel, and you click each step yourself.Unusual orders and anything the automatic routes stopped on.

The extension's popup also lists your unfulfilled eBay orders, so you can start an order from there without opening the app. The full walk-through is under order fulfilment on Amazon in the documentation.

What does Place auto order check before you pay?

An automated purchase needs brakes. Before an auto order reaches Ready to pay, the extension and the server check:

Anything the extension cannot do or cannot check shows Needs you on the order, with the reason.

Why does Dropizon stop at Place your order?

Because the purchase is yours. The money is spent from your Amazon account and the item ships to your buyer, so the last decision stays with you: one look at the summary, one click. It also means nothing is ever bought twice by a retry, and a price spike or a wrong variant is caught by a person before it costs anything. Orders are placed in your own browser and your own Amazon account, not by a third party buying on your behalf.

How is the buyer's address handled?

The extension enters the buyer's address exactly as eBay gave it, field by field, and sets the country first when needed. Two details are handled for you:

Selling on eBay UK? The eBay UK page covers the other UK details.

How are tracking numbers uploaded to eBay?

The tracking sweep runs from the extension, or on demand with Sync tracking now in its popup. It opens each Amazon order's detail page, reads the carrier and tracking number once the order has shipped, and reports them; the server uploads them to the matching eBay order and marks it "on eBay", or "not pushed" with the reason. You choose how many orders a sweep reads and how many tabs it uses (see tracking sync).

The sweep needs your supplier Amazon account signed in. If the session has signed out, the sweep stops and says so, rather than reporting every order as not shipped.

What if an order loses money?

Every order is checked for profit. The loss guard works out what the buyer paid, what eBay took, what Amazon charged and what happened to the listing around the sale, finds the cause, and applies the fixes that cannot hurt: re-read the product, reprice it, take it off sale when Amazon has none, retry a push eBay refused for a passing reason. Anything that is your call is listed on the Negative Orders page as needs you. The eBay repricer page explains the pricing side.

What do eBay's rules say?

eBay's drop shipping policy allows fulfilling orders directly from a wholesale supplier, and says that "purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay" (ebay.com and ebay.co.uk, checked 26 October 2026). Read it before you decide how to fulfil. Dropizon is a tool; sellers are responsible for compliance with each marketplace's policies.

Questions about Amazon order automation

Does Dropizon buy from Amazon without me?

No. Every way of placing an order stops at Amazon's final Place your order button, and you press it. Dropizon fills the cart, the quantity and the address and checks the profit, but the purchase itself is always your click.

Which Amazon account is used for the order?

Your own. You add the Amazon accounts you buy from as supplier accounts, one or more per marketplace, and choose which one to use for each order. A UK order is bought from an amazon.co.uk account and a US order from an amazon.com account.

Can it buy with Subscribe and Save?

Yes, when Amazon offers Subscribe and Save on that order. Tick the option when you send the auto order and the extension sets it at checkout, where it is often cheaper. You can untick it for any order.

Are tracking numbers uploaded to eBay automatically?

Yes. The extension reads the carrier and tracking number from your Amazon orders once they ship, and the server uploads them to the matching eBay order and marks it. You can also add tracking by hand from the Orders page.

Can I record an order I placed on Amazon myself?

Yes. Mark purchased records the Amazon order number and cost against the eBay order, and Add tracking records a tracking number, so the order is still checked for profit and tracked.

What if the Amazon price went up after the sale?

The auto order compares Amazon's price at checkout with your minimum profit and warns you before you pay. The sale itself also triggers an immediate Amazon reading and a reprice, so the next buyer pays the new price.
