eBay dropshipping software for UK sellers who source from amazon.co.uk

Last updated 26 October 2026

UK eBay dropshipping software has to work in pounds, read amazon.co.uk the way a UK buyer sees it, and respect eBay UK's own rules. Dropizon pairs your eBay UK account with amazon.co.uk, reads live prices and stock in your own browser at a UK delivery postcode, reprices and stocks your eBay UK listings, and handles UK details such as eBay's address codes and age-verified postage for bladed items.

What does UK eBay dropshipping software need to get right?

Most dropshipping tools are built for the US first. Selling on eBay UK from amazon.co.uk raises questions a US-first tool tends to skip:

UK detailWhat Dropizon does
Prices in poundsA UK eBay account reads amazon.co.uk only; a reading in any other currency is rejected by the currency guard.
Delivery locationThe extension pins a UK postcode on amazon.co.uk and checks what Amazon reports back before reading.
Delivery timesEach reading carries Amazon's delivery estimate, and a listing whose estimate is longer than your limit is held.
Bladed itemseBay UK's knives and bladed items rules are part of the pre-listing check, with an age-verified postage policy for the items that need one.
eBay's address codeThe per-order code eBay UK adds to the buyer's address line is stripped before the address reaches Amazon.
UK timeAn eBay UK store's orders and dispatch dates are shown in UK time.

How does Dropizon read amazon.co.uk prices for eBay UK?

The Chrome extension opens each product in a real tab on your own computer and your own connection and reads the live buy box: price, currency, stock, seller and delivery estimate. Nothing is fetched from a data centre and there is no proxy pool, so the price is the one a shopper in the UK would see. The Amazon price tracker page explains the reader in full.

Amazon localises price, currency and stock to the "Deliver to" location, so the location matters more than anything else. In the extension's control panel you set a UK postcode and press Set on Amazon; the extension changes the country first if Amazon is set elsewhere, then reloads and reads what Amazon itself reports. A batch that cannot pin its location stops rather than read unpinned, because unpinned readings look normal and are wrong. You can also rotate through a built-in list of UK cities on a clock, and if Amazon shows a robot check the extension moves to the next city, pauses, and resumes from the same product. The details are under delivery location in the documentation.

Delivery estimates matter on eBay UK because buyers see a delivery date before they buy. Each listing has a delivery limit (from the listing, its postage policy or the account default of 7 days), and a product Amazon would take longer to deliver is held at quantity 0 until a later reading shows it back within the limit.

Which eBay UK rules does Dropizon check before you list?

Every draft goes through the same pre-listing check before it can be published (the eBay VeRO checker page covers it in depth):

A flagged draft is never thrown away: it is held with the reason, and you decide. Postage policies Dropizon creates for a store are for the UK mainland only, and your own policies are never edited.

What about VAT on eBay UK?

VAT is between you and HMRC, and Dropizon does not charge, calculate or file VAT on your sales. What it can do on eBay UK accounts is label each live listing on the Inventory page with a likely VAT rate (0%, 5%, 20% or unsure), from the eBay category and the title, so you can filter by it. Labels only: nothing is held, changed or deleted because of a label.

The rules behind the labels come from HMRC's own guidance. VAT Notice 701/10 lists books as zero-rated and products that are essentially stationery, for example diaries and address books, as standard-rated (gov.uk, checked 26 October 2026). Edge cases such as colouring and activity books are labelled "unsure" on purpose. Treat every label as a starting point for your own check, not as tax advice.

How are UK orders placed and tracked?

When an eBay UK order arrives, the extension can fill the amazon.co.uk checkout in your own Amazon account with the buyer's address exactly as eBay gave it, and stop at Place your order for your click. Two UK details are handled for you:

Once Amazon ships, the extension reads the carrier and tracking number from your Amazon orders and the server uploads them to the matching eBay order. The order automation page walks through every step.

Setting up an eBay UK store, step by step

  1. Create your account and connect eBay UK through eBay's own consent screen. Your live listings are imported automatically.
  2. Install the Chrome extension, sign in, and choose the eBay account this browser works for.
  3. Set amazon.co.uk and a UK postcode in the extension's Preferences and press Set on Amazon.
  4. Set your pricing: markup, eBay fee, shipping, minimum profit, default quantity and delivery limit, all in pounds. The eBay repricer page explains each one.
  5. Leave the browser open. Readings start flowing, and the Processing page shows the latest result for every listing.

The getting started guide describes each of these settings in more detail, and how it works covers the business side: what you pay for, renewal and cancellation.

What do eBay's rules say about sourcing?

eBay UK's drop shipping policy says that fulfilling orders directly from a wholesale supplier is allowed, and that "purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay" (ebay.co.uk, checked 26 October 2026). Read the policy yourself before you decide how to source and fulfil. Dropizon is a tool: it does not decide how you run your business, and sellers are responsible for compliance with each marketplace's policies.

Questions UK sellers ask

Does Dropizon work with amazon.co.uk and eBay UK?

Yes. An eBay UK account is paired with amazon.co.uk, every reading is taken in pounds at a UK delivery postcode, and the eBay UK listings are repriced and stocked from those readings.

Can one eBay login sell on eBay UK and eBay US?

Yes. When one eBay login lists on more than one eBay site, Dropizon gives each site its own account inside Dropizon, with its own Amazon marketplace, currency and settings, so UK listings are priced from amazon.co.uk and US listings from amazon.com.

Why was a reading rejected for the wrong currency?

Amazon localises prices to the Deliver to location. If the browser shows amazon.co.uk delivering to another country, prices can come back in another currency, and the currency guard rejects them. Set a UK postcode in the extension and the next reading is accepted.

Does Dropizon work out or file VAT for me?

No. On eBay UK accounts it can label each live listing with a likely VAT rate as a filter, but the labels are not tax advice and nothing is charged, filed or changed because of them. Speak to an accountant about your own VAT position.

Which time zone does Dropizon use for a UK store?

UK time. Each store is shown in its own country's time, so an eBay UK store's orders and dispatch dates follow the UK clock wherever you sit.

Which currency are Dropizon plans billed in?

Plans are billed monthly in US dollars. The current prices, and what each plan includes, are on the plans page.

Run your eBay UK store from amazon.co.uk readings. Every plan has every feature and as many eBay accounts as you connect. Comparing tools? See Dropizon vs AutoDS.
