How Dropizon works

Last updated 26 October 2026

Dropizon is a software subscription for eBay sellers who source their products from Amazon. Sellers pay us a monthly fee to keep their own eBay listings priced and in stock automatically. We are not a shop, a marketplace or a courier: we sell a tool, and the seller stays the seller.

How eBay repricing works, in short

Dropizon's Chrome extension reads the live Amazon price, stock and delivery estimate in a real tab in the seller's own browser. The Dropizon engine applies the seller's pricing formula, runs its price and stock guards, and sends the new eBay price and quantity through eBay's official APIs. When an item sells, the extension fills the Amazon checkout with the eBay buyer's address and the seller confirms the order.

Setting up eBay repricing, step by step

1

Connect your eBay account

Authorise Dropizon on eBay's own consent screen (OAuth). Dropizon never sees your eBay password, and your live listings are imported through the eBay API.

2

Install the Chrome extension

Load the Dropizon extension in Chrome and sign in with your Dropizon login. If you have several eBay accounts, choose the one this browser works for.

3

Set the Amazon marketplace and delivery postcode

Each eBay account reads one Amazon marketplace: a UK eBay account reads amazon.co.uk with a UK postcode, so prices arrive in the right currency.

4

Set your pricing rules

Markup (a percentage or a fixed amount), the eBay fee, shipping, a minimum profit, the default quantity and a delivery limit. A single listing can override its markup, quantity and delivery limit.

5

Leave the browser open

The extension reads Amazon on its schedule, the highest-priority listings first. The engine applies your formula, runs the price and stock guards, and sends each change to eBay; held prices wait for your review.

6

Fulfil orders with one click

When an item sells, the extension opens the Amazon checkout with the eBay buyer's address filled in and stops before Place Order for you to confirm. Tracking numbers are uploaded to eBay.

Every guard, scheduled job and setting behind these steps is described in the Dropizon documentation.

What we sell, and what we do not

What Dropizon is

  • Software, sold as a monthly subscription.
  • Priced by how many eBay listings it keeps up to date, currently $12.99 to $1,199.99 a month.
  • Used by the seller, on their own eBay account, under their own eBay agreement.
  • Delivered as a web application plus a Chrome extension the seller installs.

What Dropizon is not

  • We do not sell physical products and we hold no stock.
  • We never handle money from the seller's buyers. eBay pays the seller directly.
  • We are not a payment processor, a wallet or a marketplace.
  • We do not ship anything. Amazon ships to the seller's buyer.

How the operation runs

Three parts do the work, and it is worth being precise about which part sits where, because it is the reason we can price a large catalogue without scraping anybody's site from a data centre.

The seller can revoke that eBay token at any moment from eBay's own settings, and can uninstall the extension at any moment. Both stop the automation immediately.

The complete customer journey

1

They find a plan

A visitor reads the home page and the pricing page. Plans differ only in how many eBay listings they cover. Every feature is on every plan.

2

They check out, with no account

They press Buy and land on the checkout page. It asks for a name and an email address. There is no password field, no signup form and no login step. They are shown the price and the total, in US Dollars, before they commit.

3

They pay on the provider's secure page

The card is entered on our payment provider's own hosted checkout page (Stripe). Card details never reach our server and we never store them; Stripe keeps the card for the monthly payment. How payments work sets this out in full.

4

The payment opens the account

When the provider confirms the payment, we create the account, activate the plan, number an invoice and email a receipt with a single use link for choosing a password. The customer can also choose it straight away on the page they land on.

5

They connect eBay and install the extension

Inside the application they authorise their eBay account through eBay's own consent screen, then install the Chrome extension and sign in to Amazon in their own browser. Setup usually takes about ten minutes and our support team will do it with them on request.

6

Their catalogue starts working by itself

Dropizon imports their existing eBay listings, matches each one to its Amazon source, and from then on keeps the price and the stock in line with the rules they set. If Amazon goes out of stock the listing goes to zero quantity rather than selling something the seller cannot buy. When something sells, the seller places the Amazon order, with one click from the extension.

7

It renews monthly until they cancel

The plan renews every month on the same card. The customer can cancel at any time from Manage billing; the plan then runs to the end of the month already paid. If a payment fails we email them and the card is retried; if it stays unpaid, the automation stops at the end of the paid month and their eBay listings stay exactly as they are. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Common questions

What is Dropizon?

Dropizon is Amazon to eBay automation software: a web application plus a Chrome extension for eBay sellers who source their products from Amazon. It keeps the seller's own eBay listings priced and in stock against live Amazon prices, and helps place the Amazon order when an item sells.

How does Amazon to eBay repricing work in Dropizon?

Dropizon's Chrome extension reads the live Amazon buy box (price, currency, stock and delivery) in a real tab in your own browser. The Dropizon engine applies your formula of Amazon price, shipping, markup, eBay fee and minimum profit, runs its guards, and sends the new price and quantity to eBay through eBay's APIs.

How much does Dropizon cost?

Dropizon is priced by the number of eBay listings it reprices, from $12.99 a month for 200 listings, with every feature on every plan and as many eBay accounts as you connect. Every plan and price is on the pricing page.

Which marketplaces does Dropizon support?

Dropizon supports eBay US, UK, Germany, Australia, Canada and more, each priced from its own Amazon marketplace: amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.ca, amazon.com.au and others.

How does Dropizon read Amazon prices?

Dropizon reads Amazon in your own Chrome, on your own computer and IP, with the delivery postcode you choose, the same page a shopper sees. There are no proxies, no server-side scraping and no third-party scraping API.

How are Amazon orders placed for eBay sales?

Dropizon's extension fills the Amazon checkout in your own Amazon account with the eBay buyer's address exactly as eBay gave it, and stops before Place Order so you confirm the purchase. Nothing is bought automatically.

How does Dropizon compare with AutoDS?

AutoDS is an all-in-one platform for many suppliers and sales channels; Dropizon does one workflow, Amazon to eBay, and reads Amazon from your own browser instead of a hosted service. The Dropizon vs AutoDS comparison sets out where each tool is the better fit.

What does Dropizon actually sell?

A subscription to software. Dropizon is a tool that eBay sellers use to keep their own eBay listings priced and stocked against Amazon. We do not sell physical goods, we hold no stock, and we never take payment from your buyers.

Who is the customer?

An eBay seller who sources from Amazon. They connect their own eBay account to Dropizon, and they remain the seller of record for everything they list.

What is the payment gateway used for?

Only for collecting the subscription fee from the Dropizon customer. See the payments page for the full detail.

Do I need an account before I can pay?

No. You can check out as a guest with your name and an email address. The account is created when the payment succeeds, and you choose a password afterwards.

Does the subscription renew automatically?

Yes, every month, on the card used at checkout, until you cancel. Cancel any time from Manage billing; the plan then runs to the end of the month already paid and nothing more is charged.

Ready to start? Pick a plan on the pricing page, or go straight to checkout. No account needed to pay.
